Cooking instructions

Heat a large, wide-based pan (preferably non-stick with a matching lid) with a drizzle of vegetable oil over a high heat

Once hot, add your meat-free chick'n and cook for 4-5 min or until crispy, then transfer to a plate and set aside until later

Peel and dice your brown onion[s]

Return the pan to a medium-high heat with a drizzle of vegetable oil

Once hot, add the diced onion, your curry powder and a pinch of salt and pepper

Cook for 2 min or until the onion is starting to soften

Meanwhile, trim, then cut your green beans in half

Once the onion has started to soften, add your vegetable stock mix and tomato paste to the pan and cook for 2 min further or until fragrant

Tip: Add a drizzle of oil if the pan looks a little dry

Once fragrant, add your basmati rice to the pan and stir to coat the grains in spice and oil

Add 300ml [390ml] [600ml] cold water to the pan and bring to the boil over a high heat

Once boiling, add the halved green beans and your sultanas

Give everything a good mix, then reduce the heat to low and cook, covered, for an initial 10 min

After an initial 10 min, add the crispy meat-free chick'n and cook, covered, for 2 min further or until the water has absorbed and the rice is cooked

Tip: Add a little water if the rice is not cooked or the mixture is a little dry

Once done, taste for seasoning, adding more salt and pepper if needed – this is your one pot easy meat-free chick'n biryani

Serve the one pot easy meat-free chick'n biryani with a dollop of your natural yoghurt over the top
