Cooking instructions

1

Chop your potato[es] into bite-sized pieces

Adding jalapeño sausage? Please refer to the pack to cook the jalapeño sausage

Step 1
2

Add the chopped potato to a heatproof bowl, then cover the bowl with cling film and pierce a few holes in the top with a fork

Put the bowl in the microwave for 6-8 min or until the potatoes are fork-tender

Step 2
3

While the potatoes cook, peel and roughly dice your red onion[s]

Step 3
4

Heat a large, wide-based pan (preferably non-stick) with a drizzle of vegetable oil over a high heat

Once hot, add the softened potato with a generous pinch of salt and pepper and cook for 4-5 min or until golden

Step 4
5

Once golden, add your mince and diced onion and cook for 3-4 min or until beginning to brown, breaking it up with a wooden spoon as you go

Step 5
6

Once browned, add your dried oregano with a generous pinch of salt and cook for a further 4 min or until cooked through (no pink meat!) – this is your burger hash

Step 6
7

Meanwhile, wash your lettuce, then pat it dry with kitchen paper and roughly shred

Chop your tomato[es] roughly

Step 7
8

Serve the burger hash and drizzle with your mustard ketchup and mayo

Sprinkle with your toasted sesame seeds and crispy onions and dollop over your sweet pepper relish

Serve the shredded lettuce and chopped tomato to the side and dress with your white wine vinegar and a grind of pepper

Enjoy!
