Cooking instructions

Instructions for 2 [for 3] [for 4] portion recipe.

1.

Preheat the oven to 200°C/ 180°C (fan)/ gas 6

Take a generous knob of butter out of the fridge and set aside to soften

Add your pigs in blankets to a baking tray and put in the oven for an initial 5-7 min

Step 1
2.

Unwrap your camembert[s] and score a criss-cross pattern in the top using a sharp knife

Add a piece of tin foil, large enough to cover the base and sides with some overhang, into a small oven-proof dish and top with a similar sized piece of baking paper

Top with the scored camembert[s]

Step 2
3.

Add the camembert[s] dish to the other side of the baking tray with the pigs in blankets and put in the oven for a further 12-15 min or until the camembert is melted and the pigs in blankets are golden brown and cooked through (no pink meat!)

Tip: Cooking for 4 or more? Use a separate baking tray for your camembert!

Step 3
4.

Top, tail, peel and chop your carrot[s] into batons

Step 4
5.

Deseed your pepper[s] (scrape the seeds and pith out with a teaspoon) and cut into thin strips

Step 5
6.

Once the camembert is melted, remove the tray from the oven and top with your honey and chilli flakes (can't handle the heat? Go easy!)

Return the tray to the oven for a final 2-3 min or until bubbling – this is your hot honey baked camembert

Step 6
7.

Whilst everything is cooking, slice your ciabatta[s] in half and place in the toaster for 1-2 min or until toasted

Peel your garlic

Rub the toasted ciabatta with the peeled garlic, then spread with the softened butter and cut into triangles – this is your garlic butter ciabatta

Step 7
8.

Add your cranberry sauce to a small pot

Serve the hot honey baked camembert in the centre of a board

Arrange the garlic butter ciabatta, carrot batons, pepper strips, pigs in blankets, cranberry sauce and your sliced prosciutto around it
