Bacon & Pineapple Hawaiian Pizza
For homemade Hawaiian, you'll layer tomato sauce, torn mozzarella, bacon and juicy pineapple over flame-baked naans. Garnish with oregano, and oven-bake until melty and golden.

Cooking instructions
Instructions for 2 [for 3] [for 4] portion recipe.
Preheat the oven to 220°C/ 200°C (fan)/ gas 7
Peel and finely chop (or grate) your garlic
Put a large baking tray (or two!) in the oven to heat up (this will stop the pizza bottoms from going soggy!)
Drain your pineapple, then chop into bite-sized pieces
Tip: Keep the pineapple juice for your smoothies, cakes or marinades!

Add your tomato paste to a bowl with the chopped garlic and a generous pinch of salt, pepper and sugar
Add 5 tbsp [7 1/2 tbsp] [10 tbsp] cold water and give everything a good mix up – this is your tomato sauce

Drain your mozzarella then pat it dry with kitchen paper (squeeze as much liquid out as you can)
Tear the drained mozzarella into rough, bite-sized pieces

Remove the heated tray from the oven and add your pizza base[s]
Divide the tomato sauce between the pizza bases and spread it evenly all over them with the back of a spoon

Top the pizza base[s] with the torn mozzarella, bacon lardons, chopped pineapple and dried oregano
Drizzle with some olive oil and put the tray[s] in the oven for 16-18 min or until the cheese has melted and the bacon is cooked through – this is your bacon & pineapple pizza

While the pizza[s] is cooking, combine your cider vinegar with 2 tbsp [3 tbsp] [4 tbsp] olive oil with a pinch of salt and pepper – this is your dressing

Wash your lettuce, then pat it dry with kitchen paper and roughly shred

Serve the bacon & pineapple Hawaiian pizzas with the shredded lettuce to the side
Drizzle the dressing over the shredded lettuce
